We will put descriptions with as many of the pictures as we can so that a greater understanding of the Il-4 bomber can be gained. More pictures will be added as we acquire them. |

Aircrew receiving lend-lease supplies This picture was taken by International News Photos on 22 July 1942. It shows a group of Russian aviators receiving clothing which was donated to them from Russian War Relief Inc in the United States. The aviators would then usually write letters to the senders. The man receiving the clothing in the photo is a Hero of the Soviet Union named Federov. |
