This section will try to give the reader a glimpse of what life was like during the era. It will feature pictures, history, stories, and other facets of Soviet civilian life during the period between 1946 and 1959. |

Here we have two civilian drivers license cards. Both are from 1956. We will attempt to obtain a translation of them in the future. The front cover of the booklet is on the right. If you look carefully you can make out the shape of a car and areas where some writing was stamped. |
