Walking Out Parade Dress

Walking out Parade
Dress Uniform

Captain of the KGB

The Officer is Wearing:
The summer out of formation parade uniform for summer.  It is worn by officers, warrant officers, and extended service personnel.  It should be noted that warrant officers still must wear the branch of service shoulder patch on their jacket.

As you can see, it is identical to the army uniform of this type (shown in the picture to the right).  The only differences are in the color of the shoulder boards, collar tabs, and the deep blue stripe on the trousers.  The parade visor cap is also of better quality than the cap of an officer in the regular army.

More about the uniform:

In these two pictures the differences in the KGB uniform can be seen.  The deep blue of the visor cap and on the jacket insignia are clearly visible.  The trousers also have deep blue piping to denote and officer of the KGB.
