This section is dedicated to pictures of the 'Alfa' Class nuclear powered attack submarine. The pictures are all authentic and were taken at some time when the submarine was in active service. We have a mix of photographs from both the United States Navy and from modern Russian sources for you to see here.

Decommissioned Alfa Submarines In this picture you can see two of the remaining Alfa class submarines of the Northern Fleet as they sit in port waiting to be dismantled. This picture was taken sometime in 2000. |
