We will put descriptions with as many of the pictures as we can so that a greater understanding of the Il-20 'Coot-A' can be gained.

The Underside of the Il-20 Here you can see a good picture of the underside of an Il-20 'Coot-A'. The focus of the picture was the SLAR (side looking airborne radar) in the pod beneath the aircraft. Other electronics blisters can also be seen This picture was taken in March 1984, but no location was given in the photograph. |

The Il-20 From Above This photograph was taken by the US Navy on 1 April 1982. It shows a good view of the upper portion of the aircraft and even one of the electronics blisters near the nose. |
