This section is dedicated to pictures of the 'Yankee' Class ballistic missile submarine.  The pictures are all authentic and were taken at some time when the submarine was in active service.  Most of these pictures were taken by the United States Navy during the Cold War.  Hopefully some Soviet pictures will be made available soon for us to display.

        

The Yankee at Sea

In this picture was taken by the US Navy sometime around November 1970.  It shows a Yankee class submarine underway.  The photo does not give any indication of where it was taken.
