Here we have many more pictures of the Beriev Be-12 seaplane. As with the pictures on the previous page all of these pictures are authentic and in our possession. We will put descriptions with the pictures as we can so that a greater understanding of the Be-12 'May' can be gained.
The view from a P-3 This picture shows a Be-12 flying alongside a United States P-3 reconnaissance aircraft. It is somewhat blurry and fails to give the time or location of the picture, but is still a nice addition to the collection. The wingtip of the P-3 can be seen on the right of the photo. |
The Be-12 tail In this picture you can see the magnetic anomaly detector at the rear of the aircraft. The rear door can be seen ahead of the number '16' as well. This photo was taken in early April 1990. |
Chasing the Be-12 In this picture we can see a Be-12 'Mail' as it flys away from the camera. It offers a good view of the tail and the bent wings. The date and location were not listed in this picture. |
Another Be-12 photo Here is another picture of the Be-12 'Mail' as it banks to the left. This picture was taken on 17 April 1991 by a United States aircraft, but it does not list the location of the photo. |
Be-10 number 83 The starboard side of Aircraft 83 can be seen in this photograph. If you look carefully you can make out the outline of the rear hatch and other such details. Neither the date or location were given with this photo. |
NATO photo of the Be-12 Here is a NATO photo taken in May of 1973. No location was given. It is a good side profile view of the aircraft. If you look carefully you can see into the nose windows of the aircraft and see through to the window frames on the other side. |
