Here is the second page of photographs of the Project 1144 Kirov guided missile cruiser 'Frunze'. As always our pictures are all Cold War originals taken by NATO photographers at some time when the ship was in active service. We will add more photographs as they are acquired, but until then, will do our best with what we have.

A large composite close-up of the Frunze The pictures below are a large series of photographs that show the the Frunze (hull number 050) in great detail. They were taken by a NATO aircraft sometime in November of 1985. You may notice that the pictures do not match up exactly, this is simply due to the aircraft changing position as it moved past the warship. Almost every system on the ship (and some of the crew) can be seen with some clarity. To see more of the ship scroll the screen to the right. |

The Frunze in color In this picture you can see the Frunze in color. Even though the picture is a bit grainy the colors of various parts of the ship can be clearly made out. The picture did not give any indication of when or where it was taken. |
