MiG-31 'Foxhound' |
This section is dedicated to pictures of the MiG-31 'Foxhound' interceptor. Our pictures are authentic and are a part of the Foundation's collection. They were taken at some time when the aircraft was in active service. We will add more photographs as they are acquired, but until then, will do our best with what we have.
Two views of
the MiG-31
These photos show a pair of Soviet MiG-31 'Foxhounds' from the same squadron. The aircraft in the top picture (Number 08) can be seen as it climbs and banks away from the camera. The numerous underwing missiles can also be seen here. Aircraft number 04 in the picture below is less well armed that the one above. Still, the aircraft has four air-to-air missiles underneath its fuselage. Both photographs were taken by the aircraft of the US Navy. Neither photograph has any information on them telling where or when they were taken. |
