This section covers some of the many service and unit patches that are worn by members of the Russian air force and air defense forces (PVO).  The selection of badges we have to view is listed below.

Beginning in 1992 patches were made for the air force.  These designs were accepted for use in 1993.

General Staff and Central Department of the Ministry of Defense Army Patches (1)

This patch was established in 1997.  It was worn by officers and warrant officers serving with the General Staff and the Central Department of the Ministry of Defense.

Air Defense Forces (PVO)

 

    

           

Unit Patches

Unit patches (worn on the right sleeve) are worn to denote members of a specific unit.  Not surprisingly there are dozens of these patches in service.
