Here you can see the uniforms of the pre-war
Soviet Union. In most cases they were identical to those of the previous
era, but with one major change. The first official Soviet camouflage over-garment
was introduced in 1938. Many other camouflage uniforms would follow in the
years ahead.
More uniforms will be added as they are acquired. In any case we will attempt to have detailed descriptions of each uniform along with a photograph of the uniform being worn. Not all of the uniforms will have all of these things at this time, simply because it is a rather lengthy task.
