This section is dedicated to pictures of the Ka-27 'Helix' helicopter.  All pictures shown here are Cold War original photographs.  They were taken at some time when the aircraft was in active service.  We will add more photographs as they are acquired, but until then, will do our best with what we have.

 

  

Ka-32 Variant

Here we have the transport version of the Ka-27 (known as the Ka-32).

The photo was taken by the US Navy on May 1st 1985.  It was also used in Soviet Military Power 1985, published by the US Department of Defense. 

            

The Ka-27 in Color

Below is a color picture of a Ka-27 'Helix' helicopter in flight.  The picture was taken at some time during the late 1980's, but the photo does not mention the exact date or the location where it was taken.
