In this section we will eventually cover all types of decoration given by the Soviet Union during this period. This section is divided into four major areas. The first area covers the patches, badges, and insignia of the army. The second section is for all naval (including Naval Infantry) decorations. While the third section contains all things pertaining to the Air Force.  The final section will cover agencies that did not fall under the Ministry of Defense (such as the KGB, MVD, Militsia, and Border Guards).  Regardless of the area described, all will have detailed descriptions of each item pictured.
